Hase Klimax 5K revealed for the first time to public

Lots of Hands-on the green mobility tricycle Klimax 5K

This year, Hase's creative minds attracted great attention at the Eurobike with their revolutionary KLIMAX mobility concept. On November 6-7th, the German specialized bike manufacturer offered workshops on this new technology for dealers and trade journalists. One special highlight of this training event were the presentation of Hase's latest model, the KLIMAX 5K, with 500 watts of electric-assist power.

Hase workshops are known for their practical orientation and great attention to detail, just like the bikes from chief designer Marec Hase. Participants also enjoy the family-like atmosphere in the iconic, old coal-mine buildings that Hase calls home. On the first weekend in November, Hase dealers once again had a choice of 15 different workshops. And there's really something for everyone: from practical welding courses and product seminars to courses on GPS for cyclists, offered by GPS-specialist Thomas Froitzheim. The companies Busch & Müller, Rohloff, and riese und müller were also involved. Many workshops are being offered in English and German.

KLIMAX 5K: Climate protection with turbo fun

Journalists were also more than welcome to attend. And, along with technical training, Hase has put a very special highlight on the syllabus: the presentation of its new KLIMAX 5K, including the opportunity for a test ride. Like the KLIMAX 2K, which Hase introduced at this year's Eurobike, the 5K is based on the trike-classic Kettwiesel, with a few very special features: Hase's own specially designed Foldable Fairing, which keeps riders warm and dry in any weather and any season, and a powerful – but practically silent – 500-watt electric motor on the front wheel make this trike a green mobility star for the short to medium haul. Approval by german boiler code is underway: With a small license plate, the 5K offers power-assist up to 45 km/h (28 mph) and shows drivers at the stoplight that you don't need a big-barrel exhaust pipe to have barrels of fun on the road – good-bye gas guzzlers!
During the workshop weekend, participants will have plenty of time to talk shop and network. And to ensure that its guests also get their recommended daily allowance of fun and relaxation, Hase invited all workshop participants to join them at the Zeche Party on Saturday night.
